Please pardon me for interrupting posts, but I also wanted to take a screenshot of what my affiliate blog posted regarding trigger warnings.

And this is the exact reason why I’m not doing them anymore.

I remember when trigger warnings where used for real things that actually triggered actual traumatic experiences sending people into a literal panic attacks, not just for “oh noes, this makes me a tad uncomfortable and sad.. so triggering!!1!”. I get it if it’s something like rape or murder, but slurs?? Fat shaming?? Is this person serious? 

Now TWs are just a joke, and if these people can’t handle something so simple online I don’t even want to imagine how they fare in real life. 
Real life doesn’t have a censor button or special hotlines to call that makes some dude come to wherever you are and cover your eyes to protect you. 

Again, I get it if it’s an actual trigger (like that “dynamite gal” post, for example) but stuff like this is stupid. It’s like saying “I have pink hair, and seeing people hating on pink hair saddens me, tag it gdi!!”
